So.. Someone wanted to see my desk. Another One thinks I am having a severe case of OCD (that’s Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder). Here’s to both of them (I’ve even numbered them, like what Mossie did):
Here’s the list of items on my desk, based on the numbers in the picture:
- 17″ LCD Monitor - My pride and joy. It’s my first time owning a 17″ and also a first time owning a LCD Monitor.
- University Prospectus for 2007. Ania, you should know which Uni it is.
- Watch - My only watch.
- Pencil case - have been using it for a good 4 years already
- Books - On top is Neil Gaiman’s American Gods, and the bottom is The Accidental Zillionaire.
- More books - On top is Psycho-cybernetics, and the bottom is NLP, The Technology of Achievement.
- PDA Charger Wire. Underneath it is a cute keychain from my mom when she was in UK.
- Tissue paper and Cotton Wool. Generally junk. Tissue paper to wipe blood off my face, and cotton wool for my acne treatment
- Edifier speakers… it’s a 2.1 speaker.
- More Junk. Includes a DSL Filter, a nailclipper, and a McDonald’s SMS Competition Voucher
- Movie tickets. Movies that I promised to watch with Princess a.k.a Xingyi.
- 9-Button mouse. It’s brandless.
- Work (ZOMG! Chewxy actually does his assignments???!!!)
- K608i. Not my phone. Just happened to be on my table, because of its nice 1.3Megapixel camera.
- PDA. It’s a HP h2210, and it’s half functioning (i.e it works at times)
- Hungarian Secret Box. Only I know how to open it, and my precious secrets are in there.
- Book - Food, Your Miracle Medicine. Underneath it is Spiderman 2 PC Game (lousy game), and the spindle contains all my burnt CDs
- Scientific Calculator. Casio FX570MS. On top of it are my Clip-On sunglasses
- Electric Shaver
- More Books - Freakonomics on the top, Alien Agenda at the bottom. My phone is on top of the books. Freakonomics is bookmarked at the page with statistics of children dying by the pool and children dying by gunfire.
So… what is the problem (asides the fact that I am actually doing my assignments)?
My keyboard! Where is it? Where could it be?! Surely there must be a place for my keyboard?
Yeah, there is:
My keyboard’s usual resting place is on top of the CPU. Don’t ask me why my webcam is on the floor. Well.. at least it explains why when some people try to view my webcam, all they see is darkness.
When I type, I move the keyboard onto my lap and I type.
Ah, well… this is my table in my typical assignment working days. If I don’t have any assignment, or have absolutely nothing to read, my table would usually be very empty. But when that day comes, I’ll take pictures and post it here. Until then, this itself, should be proof that I am not having OCD. But if you want to know someone who might have slight OCD, read Ken’s Blog. Or compare my table to cfgt’s table.
Fine, dad… I’ll clean my table one day when I get the time to.

Your watch is in its case? In that case (no pun intended…really), shouldn’t you label it as “The Case for my Watch”? Sorry, that’s just me being OCD. And for God’s sake, throw away the yucky tissue and cotton. You’re possibly breeding some kind of new bacteria that survives on acne treatment and blood. We wouldn’t want that now, would we? (I’m speaking for myself, because I think you would be overjoyed at a prospect like that)
