Interesting. Someone invaded my sleep last night. And told me something. The conversation went something like that -

He/she/it : Time for you to drop your ego

Chewxy : What do you mean?

He/she/it : You’ve been at logger heads for some time already haven’t you?

Chewxy : So?

He/she/it : Our paths are always blocked if we have ego.

Chewxy : And?

He/she/it : Drop your ego. It’s either you drop or she drops. She’s not going to drop her ego anytime soon. Drop yours.

Chewxy : Who’s she?

He/she/it : Someone. Who do you care for?

Chewxy : Who?

He/she/it : Drop your ego now. You have way too much. For your own good.

Chewxy : uh…

He/she/it : Drop your ego, and start studying. Stop bragging.

He/she/it : Drop your ego. She is not going to drop hers.

He/she/it : Start studying already.

Great. I haven’t slept a wink since 3.30 a.m. And I have spent the last 3 - 4 hours thinking. I don’t remember who was it in the dream that talked to me. He/she/it sounded like my dad, but I remember, has a distinctly feminine look. And try as hard as I can, I can’t see the face.

Have I been perhaps, too egoistic? (Aaron and Irene perhaps will say so…) Hmm… maybe I’ll just drop my ego for a while, and wait till I get better results then re-inflate my ego.

Ahem. Speaking of mindfulness… that was ego. OK. Today, I’ll spend the whole damn day studying then. Tons of past years’ paper to complete anyways. And time to re-evaluate me ego then.
