Who is your favourite Bond Girl? Tell me.

Looking at my list, the top 2 in my list happens to be Russians. The second 2 are Brits. And I also seem to have a thing for villians (Electra King and Miranda Frost. Pussy Galore… well..)

I list my favourite Bond girls based on my shallowness. Mostly, they’re listed on the list based on attractiveness (harhar… shows you how shallow I am). And yes, this means I find Tatiana Romanova attractive, even with her weird 60s hairstyle. (In fact the Bond girls from the older movies have really weird hairs). Wai Lin is in the Honorable Mentions list just because Michelle Yeoh is Malaysian.

Briefly:
I liked Tatiana Romanova and Anya Amanova’s performance in their respective movies, while Miranda Frost is just very very nice to look at, plus she plays a very frosty villian. Melina Havelock has nice hair (plus a face that looks like Emma Watson’s from some angles) Traci Bond was the only girl that James Bond loved (and married), while Holly Goodhead gave a good performance in Moonraker (not to mention eye candy). Goodnight always comes in mind when Nick Nack is mentioned, while Electra King is just nice as a villian who didn’t deserve to die. Maybe re-education, hmm (it’s amazing why James Bond never thought of that). Halle Berry (who looks tons better in other movies) plays Jinx, that’s why she’s in the list. Pussy Galore, well.. apart from her not knowing the gun she used, is in the list for her, ahem… suggestive name.

I noticed that a few Bond girls have seriously suggestive names with double meanings - Pussy Galore (To which James Bond said he must have died and went to heaven), Holly Goodhead (lol), Octopussy (I don’t want to think about it) and so on and so forth..

Other things I noticed with the Bond girls - Russians have a -nova as the ending to their names. Xenia Onatopp is different, ‘cos she’s the bad guy. Bad guys have to have weird names (Who wants a name like Blofeld anyways?). And I feel that Miranda Frost kinda looks like Tatiana Romanova (face cut, etc)

I promised this post about half a year back. I was actually waiting for Casino Royale to come up. This post and a few other James Bond related posts would run up to my review of Casino Royale. I have yet to watch Casino Royale at this point in time, so who knows, I might add Vesper Lynd to my list. Hehe.
