The Ticket

Today isn’t exactly a fine day. Katabana woke me up in the morning, and told me that the Tutorial Grouping starts at 9 a.m., not at 10 a.m., which was what I was told (so were most of the students). The time he called? 9.22 a.m.. I hadn’t even breakfasted yet!

Quickly, I had my breakfast and bathed et. all, and sped my way to college. Because I was out of time, I parked right outside the college building. And this is what it got me:

Parking Ticket

Yep, this is parking ticket number 4. If you had read my blog from the beginning, you’d find that I have this obscene ability for picking up parking tickets (usually for not paying the parking meters). And this, is the fourth ticket I have gotten so far.

According to the ticket, I had violated the Methods of Traffic 1959 Law, Section 12 (3) (c) – which accordingly I had parked in a road with double lines. Uh.. wait a sec… What double lines??? It’s more like I parked less than 30 metres to a curve. There weren’t any double lines to begin with. And heck, every damn Tom, Dick and Harry were parked on the same damn street. And guess who was the only one who got a ticket? Yours truly. Geez.

And what’s worse is that Tutorial Grouping was indeed at 10 a.m.. Thanks to Irene and Aaron, I managed to squeeze through the crowd and got my tutorials signed fast.

Thank goodness DBKL reduced fines already. The last time, I had to pay 70 bucks for a parking offence. I think it’s only 30 bucks this time.

And all Shyuing has to say is: Bad things happen for a good reason.
Maybe there is a silver lining to all of these. Hmm. I can then mine some Ag, and sing hihohiho.
