New (York) Theme - A Live Test

As the new year approaches… this is a new theme. I will release it after a few days of code tweaking. Currently, it sucks in IE with 1024×768 resolution. I am looking to fix it. And the code is not xHTML valid yet, so I am still fixing it. Also, I am going to cut down the number of files (or perhaps increase them), so bits of code will go here, some will go there, and most will go here, there, everywhere to find that it goes no where. As per things, give it a few days to flux about, slosh about in the test tube, before curdling into the final theme

Update 26th January 2007:
Now it looks better on IE… but the effect is that it is now not-so search engine friendly. Still working on it. Hope to finish by tonight. I’m searching for the holy grail of CSS.

Update 27th January 2007:
Holy Grail looking good, thanks to combination from a few types of holy grails, including the one from alistapart. But it’s still sloshing around the test tube. More SEO now. (In fact, very very SEO’d now)

Update 11 p.m. :
It is fixed! Wheee! I’ll let it slosh about for 1 more week before releasing :D

    i happen to have a colour monitor yea?and it supports 16 million colours, not just black and white. make me proud of it. hehe

    Nice idea.
    But it’s better if you could increase some width size for content area in main page. Some image seem wider than the width.

    Nice layout, pretty Black-And-White (no doubt influenced by the big D-man) minimalist but looking stylish at the same time.

    Btw, i think you’ve mentioned it already, but..

    …it REALLY sucks in IE at 1024X768 resolution.

    No.. if I were inspired by the D-Man, the whole site will be black-on-black, and its black will be so black that there’ll be a red shade of black and other blacks in shades of color.

    Oh, and the skull and crossbones too. I’m working to fix the problem with the resolution, and I resolve that it shall be resolved in a resolute manner. That is my resolution.
