I have a confession to make: I say I don’t like reality TV (except the Amazing Race), but I’m addicted to On the Lot. Yep. It’s a Steven Spielberg and Mark Burnett show. And damn, I like it! Episodes 1 and 2 were audition episodes, and were shown back to back, so here’s a quick [...]

On the Lot 1 & 2 Review
The Other Person
I’ve been having lots of lunches and dinners lately. I mean, lunch is really over-rated (since if you wake up at 7 and have breakfast by 8, you won’t feel hungry till about 6 p.m.).

Refreshed
Ah. I’m back. 4 days away from the world, being in solitary inner peace is definitely refreshing.

I’ve got like over 300 spam comments and another 30+ spam email in my inbox. [...]

95% of the female applicants (21 out of 23) sent me a nicely typed out C.V. Some are not as proficient in Microsoft Word, but [...]
Numb3rs
Tyler Cowen blogged about Benford’s Law yesterday. Today there is a nice discussion going on there.
People who went to bookshops with me in the last 3 weeks or so may now understand why I’m kinda psyched about Tyler blogging Benford’s Law. Some of my friends have been wondering what I was doing reading up books [...]
Random Morning Musings
More random stuff:
Audrey Hepburn
I feel that Audrey Hepburn is a great actress. Having recently watched Roman Holiday and rewatched Breakfast, I feel that today’s actresses cannot really compare up to her. She nailed the geeky/mischievous princess role so well that it puts Anne Hathaway (who got her role in Princess Diaries thanks to her klutziness) [...]
