Ah. I’m back. 4 days away from the world, being in solitary inner peace is definitely refreshing.
Ah, but I’m back and ready to spring into action again. As soon as I get rid of the pile of spam and junk mail.
I’ve got like over 300 spam comments and another 30+ spam email in my inbox. And another 4 weird people with really strange C.V.s, the strangest being a guy who sent me a properly typed C.V., but with a “Hanya Aku” (Only Me) email topic and content are Yahoo!Messenger love hearts.
Right. Refreshed and rejuvenated (and someone got very happy along the way), I’m ready to roll again!
Oh yeah… Scarlet Macaws may look very pretty (and large too), but they can be vicious in the wild (claws and scratches anyone who tries to disturb them - and cannot speak English), and noisy (”Hello!” and caw caw noises all the way) in captivity.
Seeing that I’m going to be out most of the time again, here’s some reading stuff for you to read:
- Mental Floss’ How to Win at Rock Papers and Scissors (also found at Statistical Modelling blog)
- For those more interested in the China-Taiwan situation - Andrew Leonard’s article on Formosa Betrayed. (You have to wait for the idiotic ads to finish loading first - pesky Salon.)
- Another one - Andrew Leonard’s (again!!! I seem to read him a lot) When the Red Army asked for U.S. Help (same thing with the stupid ads)
- And for some good music - Jazz Conspiracy!
- Malaysians interested in the whole Wolfowitz affair can read Ktemoc’s take on it.
Right. Cheerios
Cool?
