A day after my announcement on my movie, I got contacted by a potential actor whom I had previously auditioned. Now that shoots have wrapped up, I’ll post it here. This was our chat log (names have been changed):

At this point I was going ????!!!???!!!! What the fuck? But wait! The drama gets better!! Read on!

i just heard from some people here that many gay filmmakers in this country prefer to work with other gays out of personal preference

I told you! He then proceeds to talk nonsense… mostly which I don’t understand.

Thank goodness there was lunch. So what was your opinion? Was I being sensitive, or did I just get really insulted by someone angry? I’m not sure. But I’m not gay, and though I do not codone homosexuality, I do not discriminate against them.

So was I insulted? Not really. More amused than anything.
