Sometimes when you are bored, you look for things online. Rather than searching for porn, here are some quality links for fun reads.
- Brilliant Talent - Thia Megia
Today we mourn the death of Luciano Pavarotti (well, not me, but most of his fans); but instead, I’ve found someone more interesting. That would be 12-year-old Thia Megia. It happened when Tou and I were discussing Pavarotti and Puccini’s opera. And so I decided to show him some of Pucinni’s work (specifically the ultra popular O’mio Babbino Caro - which was also used in Mr. Bean’s Vacation), and I stumbled upon her singing. Wow. I risk sounding like a pedo, but heck, I like her! She’s a bit self-indulgent, but hey, she deserves to be. - Oobject
If you read Jason Kottke, you’d know all about this site already. Quite a random site, but a fun browse thru nonetheless. Check out the Japanese Batman Phone! - More Fun Japanese Stuff!
Speaking of Japanese stuff… here’s a personal ATM; a 100000 yen handkerchief; a very interesting coffee stand (don’t shout Objectification!); a mini knife… ah.. don’t you just love the Japanese and their random chindogu? - The Daily Marginal Revolution Pick - How Much Cash Should You Carry
You knew this was coming. I like Tyler’s work (On his blog). His book is a bit expensive (and takes too long to ship from Amazon to Australia) though. I carry quite a bit, but never more than a hundred bucks. Anything beyond 100, I’ll use EFTPOS or the credit card. - New Blog! - Econospeak
Hat tip to Tyler again. It’s quite refreshing to read some neoclassical POVs. I’ve been around evolutionary economics for a bit too long. My brain’s like a flowery mush now, filled with words like “Information Environment” and stuff like that. - Quite a good read! - Dyske
Yep, believe it. It took me this long to find this guy. Read his articles. They’re Chewxy guaranteed good.
And added into my wishlist - the iPod touch! Now, I’m a very nice hot young girl… so if someone is willing to donate me, I’ll do something odd ya.
Ok ok, you caught me there. I blogged this as an escape from my nonsensical OB assignment. Because I think Emotional Intelligence is crap (but compared to the other choices I got, EI is gold). So there, Mr. Goleman. Up yours.
Have fun.
Cool?

Dunno. Why don’t you try?
[…] I first read the term on Dyske (I mentioned him in an earlier post of mine), and this is a reply-of-sorts to Tou’s post on the ladyslug (wozzat?). Coming from a country where racism is in its tenets of the law (yea, try extremely racist economics), I don’t notice such things. In fact, I’m oblivious to such things happening around me, so reading Tou’s blog was a most interesting revelation on his observation skills. […]
