One Slack Week Over…

Last week was entirely a slack week for me. I didn’t do any laudry, didn’t do any grocery shopping, and skipped 2 classes. I ate mostly carbs (spaghetti, lol. Fast to cook) My room was in such a mess that it shocked Amy when she came in.

The reason is I happened to have assignments due, and time is limited. Duh.

Naturally, after I finished my assignment, I cleaned up my act on Sunday, and my room smells pine fresh now. So… slack week over…

…Or is it?

Let’s see what’s due next week:

  • My economics assignment
  • finance mid-sem..
  • a workshop/presentation

Looks like another slack week ahead. Sigh. Right. I’ll go play some LEGO now. See ya.
And here’s a value added extra for my readers - a chat log with cfgt last Thursday:

-rei- says:
enough assignment paranoia

-rei- says:
I should do something else

Chewxy says:
like weekly accounting and budgeting

-rei- says:
I’m proud to say I’m below my budget this week

-rei- says:
yay!

-rei- says:
I’m below my weekly budget by about 80 dollars, and I don’t know how, lol.

Chewxy says:
er. that’s a lot.

Chewxy says:
But you can’t beat me.

Chewxy says:
I spent ZERO in the past week.

-rei- says:
yep. you are impossible to beat in that dept

-rei- says:
just like how KL is impossible to beat in the truancy dept. LOL

Chewxy says:
LOL.

Chewxy says:
I think I may catch him up now…

Just curiously enough… I can drop my spendings from about 300 a week to ZERO… now, THAT’s great savings. I wonder what it says about me though, when you compare the budgets and actual spending. I can imagine: Budget- $300; Actual - $0. Any auditor would be having a nice WTF bubble above their heads, and ask how I can pad my budget so much.

Another thing is… it’s crazily dusty around here. I left my assignment print-out on my table for a night, and the next day, a fine layer of dust has collected. Strange.

Use that $300 to get yourself a hand-vacuum. Seriously.

Or I can spend 7 bucks on a Pledge Dustbuster (which I did) and come to the same result

How are you able to have a $300 budget anyway?! That’s, like, my budget for 3 weeks. Damn…

He puts his knowledge to good uses and as a consequence he gets $300 a week?

    Wtf - 300 dollars a week is a huge budget. o_O

300 includes rent… and phone, and internet, and extras (like books, POD printouts etc)

The rental is already > 1/2 of the budget.

If you think your room is messy, you obviously have not seen mine.

I’ve seen your room dear. Mine’s worse. Because as Amy said “It’s messy without style”.

I live too spartan a life (only the basic needs, like clothes and printer and router). So when things get messy… it looks messy in a strangely spacious manner.

Spending nothing while living on your own?

Haha i wish i can also.

If that 300 dollars includes your rent, then you did spend part of your budget la (although not explicitly). Where can be zero - unless you are illegally in your apartment. What a misleading claim.
