Hashie: You're quite right about the bias. I tried to take that into account, but can't find the right variables to weight on. But I can say I played fairly normally during both experiments.

Disabling FF would be pointless, no? As it IS an indicator.

Raymun: Shot glasses?

hashie is right, maybe you could use alcoholic drinks with greater alcohol concentrations. and maybe use shot glasses instead in the future?

that's if you're doing Vodka or Tequilla =)

"...you purposely shoot less cautiously during a round..."

I meant that, during a round, when your teammates are in your direct line of sight and there are enemies ahead of them, you'd fire off less cautiously then before.'

Oh and chewxy, you CAN have your friends as teammates la. You can disable friendly fire. =D

Moony has a point ya know. How do u define "intoxicated"? I suppose BAC tests can be considered a scientific approach to things, but since you lack one, i guess the only way to really ensure intoxication is to drink something slightly more... intoxicating. Vodka perhaps?

And to make your results more consistant, get a larger sample group! You're probably a unique case because you're highly susceptible to alcohol. How about other friends? REgular drinkers? Smokers? Indians? (they're legendary for holding their drinks)

Plus, don't you think you may have... personal bias during the experiment itself? Like you're thinking to yourself "i must prove drinking alcohol causes more TKS" and you purposely shoot less cautiously during a round. Wouldn't that affect results as well?

Haha btw, ask yh for details on how i know what being "intoxicated" is really like.

I think there's a clan in LYN looking for a replacement for WCG Finals in Seattle in the US.

You should join them... but only on the condition that you are allowed to play intoxicated.

Not really. This WAS an interesting test, and it CAN be used to extrapolate to other games, like O2Jam (a coordination based game), or chess (but chess games would take too long to harvest data)

Besides, I found that you don't want me as your team mate when I'm intoxicated. I TK a lot (33% of the time)
