Shamrock n’ Roll!

Seven Leaf CloverI’m Irish. And I’m lucky. And I like it. And I’m thankful that so far all I’ve met are very helpful people (except for 1 particularly nasty person in my life)

And this is superstition: Every time I walk into 7-11 on George Street (after being tired of waiting for the bus), the bus arrives. It could also be Murphy’s Law at work. Or coincidence. What I can do is to test it the next time.

Here’s a 7-leaf clover. Now you can be like Fry! First Man on Mars (technically that was his nephew, but in his namesake, so it counts too)!

For the fourth time in 2 days, I mistook 7 o’clock as 8 o’clock (twice it was p.m., and twice a.m.). Then again, this is what happens when you wear a watch or use a phone that has no numbers on the clock face. I should get a digital watch instead. Or I could go back to grade school and learn to read the clock. With 12 hands.

Back to my assignment. Live long and prosper.

[...] I am Italian (and I can hear my dad shouting “HOW CAN YOU JUST ABANDON YOUR CHINESE HERITAGE!!!!!”). Unlike the time I claimed I was Irish (which was for no reason other than to hear my dad shout the above, which he again, didn’t ), I have a good reason for claiming to be Italian this time round.
