Some good points,

but your argument that No-Subtitles was a bad thing is just stupid. That was done very much on purpose because we are meant to be feeling empathy for the main character’s situation. To put in subtitles would be to deviate from this goal.

Yikes – horrid that you’d classify Shanghainese as a mix between Mandarin, Korean, and Japanese…very poor description – mostly unintelligble to Mandarin speakers, it’s a language all on it’s own…besides there wasn’t a lot in the movie…predominately mandarin…guess you’re more banana than you’d like to think! Confirm before publishing – facts are good.
