Hi all,
I’ll be liveblogging my mid-semester exam. It’s from 2pm to 5pm AEST. and during this time, I’ll occassionally pop back here to blog. I will not blog the questions, or the answers (because that would constitute cheating), but I will blog my thoughts - what I think about the exam. Or whatever stray thoughts that come in my head when I do my exams.
This is an open book exam. And I have access to the internet while the exam is going on. Yes I know I’m supposed to be focussing on the exam instead.. but hey, a guy can have a spare thought yea?
Rules for you readers:
- Do not ask about the exam.
- Do not ask about the questions or answers.
Right then? Here we go.
1.55 p.m - Damn.. c’mon.. start the exam already…
2.02 p.m - got the papers…
2.10 p.m - OMG.. 10 mins into the exam, and I’m stuck with IT support… still answering my questions on why I’m unable to access the questions… Nightmare!
2.16 p.m - ZOMG.. tech support got me to open my stuff with IE.. and it works. IE sucks. Doing exam now.. shh…
2.42 p.m - That’s 1 question done… 29 to go.
2.54 p.m. - I rue the day they invented so many methods to find the F statistic and R2
3.15 p.m - Aaaaaaaaah… a question from a lecture I missed… shiit?
3.21 p.m - Whoever whose name is Ramsey, which includes Gordon Ramsey… they all suck
4.04 p.m - doneth! Checking
4.33 p.m - bleargh… this shit is tough. I can’t imagine doing this without referencing
4.37 p.m - Hmm.. MCQ… I’ve ruled out 2/4 definite wrong assumptions. Question now is whether to switch answers… Monty Hall tells me to switch.
4.39 p.m - I shouldn’t be thinking about the monty hall problem now!!! focuss!!!!
4.50 p.m. - Sheesh.. submit now. Dun wanna check no more
4.53 p.m - Ugh.. done. Going to back to sleep now. I think I must have lost at least 8 marks.

Exam was okay.. results on Monday. And doesn’t matter.. I think Gordon Ramsay is an idiot anyways. I’m more of a Jamie Oliver guy. Gordon Ramsay has way too many F words.
And JB Ramsey, who invented the Ramsey RESET test has too many F tests
