Last year, I wrote that I type too fast. Of course while there aren’t any actual valid reasons for saying that (since the error occurs when WLM thinks you are spamming by pressing enter too many times)
But finally, I have proof that I type way too fast. Or again, you could think this as a boastful post of mine. Any how, I was at a meeting this morning, and I was preparing a presentation. And so as we bounced ideas off each other, I was transcribing them into words. Anyone who knows my talking speed would know I usually get quite worked up and hyper(active) and do things very quickly.
And that was what happened. And then I broke my keyboard. Or rather, just the one key - the ‘]’ key. What happened was that I was typing too fast and the ‘]’ key stuck to my hand as I moved it across the keyboard. I mean, it literally stuck to my hand like there was glue on it. Of course, here are the pictures:

The missing key. If you use lists or dictionaries in Python you know what you’re sorely missing.

The key, the rubber nipple, and the Supa Glue to fix the whole damn thing.
Of course, in the end, I fixed everything and I can go back to typing “l=[]” (or in the latest case, “l=[[[]]]”)
p/s: I wrote this entire post in my new Ubuntu machine while waiting for the superglue to dry. Ah, so I did find a use for the Ubuntu laptop afterall (aside from serving as a SMB server, which I have no use for yet) :). Of course, the question is why the hell did I install GNOME instead of KDE? I need to be more mindful.
Cool?

Heh. I am amused. The last time I lost a key though, it was my caps lock key on my old Palm Wireless Keyboard.
