The Geek’s Desk

YesIt’s been a while since I last posted a desktop picture (the last time, I posted a picture of the dining table. Previous times were of my desk back in Malaysia). I realize I haven’t posted pictures of my current desk, so here it is:

My Desk

And as usual, here are the numberings for the stuff on my desk:

  1. Noticeboard – Contains permanent notices, like reminder to pay rents and stuff
  2. Noticeboard – timetables, assignment schedules etc.
  3. My Dell laptop – running of Vista. On screen is some CSS.
  4. My 22″ Monitor – currently an extension of my Vista machine. I use it also to connect to the other server – the YellowDog Linux PS3. On screen is some Python.
  5. The Ubuntu laptop – I use it for my academic stuff. On screen is some graph on money price (The article is about the validity of the business cycle)
  6. My Game Theory assignment – extended games and veto votes (incidently, ‘veto’ is an anagram of ‘vote’)
  7. Pile O’ Stuff – 2 Sprite Zero cans; The Force Unleased; a pint glass of water, my iPod
  8. Pile O’ Stuff #2 – My phone, my watch, on top of Self-Made Man.
  9. Pizza! I went to grab this at 11 p.m. And somehow when I went to get the pizza, all I could think about is Admiral Adama doing his badass thing, jumping the Galactica into the atmosphere of New Caprica.
  10. Keyboard and mouse. My mousepad is the Ubuntu Server edition case.
  11. Lamp. That’s the 100W light which I am so happy with.

Yes, yes, I know…most people would use Vista to do the PDF reading and stuff like that, while using Linux to code. But I think Vista is awesome still. Sue me. :D

And yes, I am THAT bored. Homework is always borng.
