I had a strange dream last night, which caused me to wake up late this morning. In the dream, I went to class without pants. And when I went to class, my experimental econmics lecturer was auctioning off a pair of pants that fit me. There was some strange talk about private valuation, and stuff like that.
And then I woke up with a start. It was 9.30. Class was at 10. I mumbled to myself, that I must remember to wear pants to uni. I printed my notes, and quickly hopped into the bathtub, and had a quick bath, and got out, all the while reminding myself to wear pants. I was ready.
I picked up my paper and walked out of the door, and then locked the door, and tried to slip my keys into my pants pocket, only to realize I forgot to wear my pants (I was wearing my underwear though). I quickly ran into my house and put on last night’s slacks, stinky and all, and went to class. And I arrived 3 minutes early.
In class, of course, we talked about auction theory, and designing better auctions.
Also, on my way out from class, I walked by a guy wearing a shirt with the Fe symbol off the periodic table, and the picture was captioned “Irony”.(This one here)
That, and the pretty awesome discussions on people’s attitudes to risks in auctions made my day.
Cool?
