Have you tried turning it on and off again?
^Say that in an Irish accent. And yes, that’s from the IT Crowd. The IT Crowd is a show I enjoy a lot.
One show I DID NOT enjoy at all, was Meet The IT Chicks. Yes, its a real show. And I didn’t enjoy it one bit at all. It is boring drivel, attempting to capture the niche demographics known as “geeks” (which I profess to be one). It isn’t witty, it isn’t funny, it is just drivel. And no offence to Stephanie or Chloe, but I don’t find you attractive at all. I feel that using industry-specified hotness, it is just exploitation. If it were used in an attempt to capture audiences known as geeks, you don’t have my viewing.
No, instead, the whole show felt like an advertisement for some ReadyNAS thingy. I googled ReadyNAS and its made by Netgear. Well, Netgear, I’m sorry, but I have my own NAS, made up of an xbox, and Linksys equipment, and I’m not looking to buy one. And oh, I have got a hot capable girlfriend who can make your vaginas wet with her knowledge in RF and electronic stuff like that. Plus, she can build robots (I’m getting her to build me Caprica Six, or Mahoro).
I feel Meet The IT Chicks is a horrible show in attempt exploit the IT demographic. And I doubt anyone in the IT industry (and considering that I am not even in the IT industry) would like it. Unless they fall for the chicks. Ugh. The writers from National Lampoon can do way better, and their track record shows so (though I felt Van Wilder was the peak of their good writing)
BAD SHOW. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH IT.
Speaking of “Hello IT”, I had a LAN party last weekend, and to my ultimate dismay, I discovered I wasn’t as young as I thought I was.. The LAN party was supposed to go on for 24 hours, and I fell asleep after 10 hours of gaming. Someone had to call 0118999881999117253 to wake me up. WTF. Also, “hah! memory is RAM!”
Cool?

LOL. The most dangerous thing about geeks is that they’ll know (and hate it terribly) when you actually have no idea about what you’re doing.
It’s the reason why a lot of shows now hire consultants so that they don’t look stupid. Unfortunately, I think CSI needs to hire a few more. Grrrr.
I’ll create a GUI interface using Visual Basic…see if I can track an IP address
